F-150 Tire Pressure Light Reset

If your low tire pressure warning light is on after inflating your tires, follow this verified reset procedure for 2022-2026 models.

Before resetting the light

Check the Safety Compliance Certification Label on the door pillar for required pressures.
Drive above 20 mph (32 km/h) for at least 2 minutes.
Park in a safe location with access to an air pump.

Switch the ignition OFF.

Switch the ignition ON (but do not start the engine).

Note: The next step must be completed within 10 seconds.

Switch the Hazard Flashers ON then OFF 3 times.

The horn sounds once and a reset message appears in the information display.

Note: If the system does not enter reset mode, restart from Step 2.

Go to the Left Front tire and decrease air pressure until the horn sounds.

A single horn tone confirms the sensor is learned.

Note: If the horn sounds twice, the procedure was unsuccessful and you must restart.

Move to the Right Front tire and decrease pressure until the horn sounds.

Repeat for the Right Rear tire, then the Left Rear tire.

Training is complete when the system indicator stops flashing and the dash message updates.

Switch the ignition OFF.

Note: If the horn sounds twice after turning the ignition off, the procedure failed.

Set all four tires to the recommended PSI indicated on your door label.

Perform the procedure at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from other vehicles to avoid signal interference.

Do not wait more than 2 minutes between tires or the system will time-out.
