Toyota Camry Tire Pressure Light Reset

Follow the TPMS reset procedure for 2015-2017 Toyota Camry models.

Before You Start

Park the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off.

Adjust all tire pressures to the cold inflation pressure specified on the driver's door jamb sticker.

Initialization cannot be performed while the vehicle is moving.

TPMS Reset Procedure

Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position. For Smart Key models, press the 'Start' button twice without touching the brake.

Locate the tire pressure warning reset button on the lower instrument panel, to the left of the steering column near the driver's knee.

Press and hold the reset button until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly 3 times.

Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch in the 'ON' position to allow the computer to register the new tire pressures, then turn the switch off.

Toyota Camry TPMS Reset

This guide covers the TPMS reset procedure for the 2007\u20132011 Toyota Camry.

The TPMS reset button is located inside the glovebox, typically on the left-hand side wall.

Before You Start

Make sure all four tires are cold and inflated to the tire pressure listed on the vehicle’s door sticker.

It can also help to remove heavy items from the glovebox so you can clearly access the TPMS SET button.

TPMS Reset Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Locate the TPMS SET button inside the glovebox, typically on the left-hand side wall.
  3. Press and hold the button until the tire pressure warning light on the instrument cluster blinks slowly 3 times.
  4. Leave the ignition ON for a few minutes before turning it off.

After completing the procedure, the vehicle may need to be driven before the TPMS system finishes initializing.
