Toyota Camry Tire Pressure Light Reset

Follow the TPMS reset procedure for 2012-2014 Toyota Camry models.

Before You Start

Inflate all tires to the cold PSI listed on the driver's door jamb.

Park the vehicle before starting the reset procedure; the reset will not initiate while the vehicle is moving.

Some higher trims, including XLE and V6 models, may have a TPMS sensor in the spare tire. If the warning light persists after the reset, check the spare tire.

TPMS Reset Procedure

1

Turn the ignition to the 'ON' position. For Smart Key models, press the 'Start' button twice without touching the brake.

2

Locate the hidden TPMS 'SET' button high under the driver's side dashboard near the knee area, usually to the left of the steering column.

3

Press and hold the button until the TPMS indicator on the dashboard blinks slowly 3 times.

4

Leave the ignition ON for 5 minutes to allow the computer to register the new baseline pressures.

5

Drive the vehicle for at least 15\u201320 minutes at speeds above 25 mph (40 km/h) to complete the calibration.
