RAV4 TPMS Reset

Official procedure for 2019 models.

Before you start

  • Tire pressure must be adjusted while cold
  • Engine must be running
  • Vehicle must be stationary

Park the vehicle in a safe place and stop the engine for at least 20 minutes.

Adjust the tire inflation pressure of all tires to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level found on your driver-side door jamb sticker.

Start the engine.

Using the steering wheel control switches, press the Left or Right arrows to select the Gear Icon (Settings).

Press the Up or Down arrows to select Vehicle Settings and then press and hold the OK button.

Select TPWS and press the OK button.

Select Set Pressure, then press and hold the OK button until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times.

Wait for the 'Setting Tire Pressure Warning System' message to disappear from the display. Initialization is now complete.
If the light does not blink 3 times, repeat the process from step 4
The system will not operate correctly if incorrect pressures are set during initialization
