Follow the TPMS reset procedure for 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
Ensure the parking brake is set.
Verify all tires are inflated to the cold pressure listed on the B-pillar (driver's door jamb) sticker.
If using the air-pressure change method instead of a TPMS relearn tool, make sure you are in a quiet area where the horn chirps can be heard clearly.
Turn the ignition to ON/RUN with the engine off.
Use the steering wheel thumbwheel to scroll to the Tire Pressure page in the Driver Information Center (DIC).
Press and hold the thumbwheel or Select button until the horn chirps twice and 'Tire Learning Active' appears on the display.
Start with the Driver Side Front tire. Increase or decrease the air pressure for about 10 seconds until a single horn chirp sounds.
Proceed in a clockwise order: Front Right, then Rear Right, and finally Rear Left. Wait for the horn chirp at each tire before moving to the next.
Turn the ignition OFF and adjust all tires to the correct recommended PSI.
This guide covers the TPMS sensor relearn procedure for the 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
The Silverado 1500 can enter a tire learning mode that allows the vehicle to match each wheel’s TPMS sensor to its position.
Set the parking brake and verify that all tires are inflated to the cold pressure listed on the vehicle’s B-pillar or driver’s door jamb sticker.
If you are using the air-pressure change method rather than a dedicated TPMS relearn tool, perform the procedure somewhere quiet enough to hear the horn chirps.
